Completed Projects

The following are a selection of completed projects in which HBA have been involved.

 

Englefield Green Village Hall Project

When the Englefield Green Methodist Chapel closed and the congregation amalgamated with St Jude's Anglican Church it was decided to turn the building into a Village Hall to serve the inhabitants of Englefield Green. HBA were appointed Project Mangers and arranged the design and construction of a new extension and the refurbishment of the existng buildings.

Stratton House, Mayfair, London

The Stratton House project was the largest on which HBA has been employed to date. It consisted of the refurbishment of offices on 6 floors and the construction of a luxury penthouse on the roof. HBA were employed during the design phase to comment and make recommendations as to feasability in Health & safety and maintenance matters. During the construction phases we monitored the contractor's health & safety regime and its implementation.

Kingsdown Methodist Church, West London

The original single storey vestibule was demolished and the new two-storey front erected in 2008. The work involved new ground foundation beams, temporary works to support the main west gable and all new services including underfloor heating. Within the worship area an air recirculation system was installed with a gas fired hot air blower to provide rapid heat up of the area prior to services taking place. HBA Ltd acted as Project Manager and CDM Co-ordinator.

Brook Street, Mayfair. Office redevelopment project

This project involved the retention of listed facades and the demolition of the buildings behind. New offices were then constructed. HBA were consulted throughout the design and construction phases and produced a Health & Safety File / User Manual at completion.
